  • Marketing skills…we’re retail!

Christ in the City is supported by many churches and individuals offering financial support, volunteer time, and in-kind gifts such as furniture and food. A non-profit board oversees our operations. Volunteers and board members come together from different denominations to create a community that connects Christian traditions. Resources come from the United Methodist Church, other Christian denominations, and from the secular world.

BE the mission!
Help create a better community for Baton Rouge.

What a great week! People keeping warm and enjoying complimentary coffee at Christ in the City. Relaxing in the quiet space or playing tunes on the piano. Mixing it up at a friendly open house with the Downtown Business Association of Baton Rouge. Delivering food donations to the Food Bank. Connecting people to community resources. A minister with a listening ear is here for YOU in downtown Baton Rouge!
